The theme and decor are completely soviet schlock, but the food is divine! At least when we were there, in June. We ordered 2 entres, 1 side dish and 1 dessert. The baked eggplant was plain but very well done, with a hint of chargrilling, then doused in that yummy clovery tasting ukrainian butter. It wasn\'t your dark purple globe eggplant, or long thin asian eggplant, but was a green color with tiny seeds so it may have been young eggplant. I also ordered the pelmeni, which tastes like pork hash boiled in a won-ton type of wrap (similar to pot stickers) drizzled in sour cream with chopped dill sprinkled on top. It was standard pelmeni, made of very good ingredients. The best dish was the vegetable shashlik (chargrilled vegetable kebabs). The veggies (eggplant, tomatoes, cauliflower, onions, mushrooms) were marinated, then grilled and served with a shashlik sauce. The ingredients were all fresh, and flash grilled for that smoky char taste while retaining all the moisture. If you\'re a meat eater (which I am) you\'llstill love this vegetarian dish. For dessert we had apple streudel with ice cream, which was presented very nicely on a drizzled apple preserve. Cost for the vegetable shashlik, the baked eggplant, the pelmeni with pork filling, and the apple streudel with ice cream totaled 104 grivnas or $13 US. On 208 Lenina Street next to the WWII Memorial Flower Bed, about 4 trolley stops (1.5 grivnas) from the Intourist Hotel, or a leisurely walk of about 25 minutes.

Спасибо большое за Ваше заведение! когда бываю в Запорожье, первым делом ходим в гости в Политбюро. Персонал просто супер, знают толк в работе, не говоря уже о человеческих качествах, очень веселые=)Спасибо большое, скоро будем в ЗП, обязательно прийдем=)
